Dr. Cody Thompson PhD is an Environmental Engineer with a specialization in Environmental systems.
With a M.Sc in Computational Biophysics studying air flow along with heat and mass transfer processes in commercial systems, Cody brings a deep appreciation for the complexities of environmental control. Furthermore, Cody brings his experience working for the Controlled Environment Systems Research Facility (CERSF, University of Guelph) where he completed his PhD focused on sensor-based control systems for indoor agriculture. Cody’s experience provides a strong understanding of the critical aspects of indoor plant production and a deep appreciation for the current potential and limits of real-life applications in this exciting new industry.
With expertise in environmental systems in practice and within academia, Dr. Cody Thompson PhD can assist in the successful adaptation of data sensor and control technologies.
